WEEK 6 - DAY 1

Today you are going to modify your blog to include LABELS, these allow you to easily categorize your posts.

ACTIVITY 1:

Using the handout provided in class, modifying your blog's template to utilize the "Labels" feature.

ACTIVITY 2:

Once you have modified your blog layout to include LABELS, you will be adding the following posts to your blog, use the appropriate HTML tags on your posts:

POST 1: During week 1 I learned how to:

  • create a Google Document, make a table, create a flowchart.
  • create a Google Spreadsheet.
  • create a Google Presentation.
  • I demonstrated these skills by creating 3 separate images, one for each app, and included appropriate text in each document.

POST 2: During week 2 I learned how to:

  • Create a blog
  • Post to a blog
  • Use HTML tags: table, list, paragraph
  • I demonstrated these skills by creating a blog, posted to the blog and created simple HTML code to format my text as needed.
On this post create 3 labels: Week 2 - Blogs - HTML

POST 3: During week 3 I learned how to:

  • recreate a professional photograph
  • identify the 5 principals of photographic composition.
  • I demonstrated these skills by selecting professional photographs and recreating these photographs using class mates and myself as models.
On this post create 2 labels: Week 3 - Photographs

POST 4: During week 4 I learned how to:

  • identify colour theory on the colour wheel
  • identify 6 colour schemes
  • the principles of RGB colour images on the computer screen
  • I demonstrated these skills by creating a Google document that displayed the colour wheel with descriptive text surrounding the wheel. I also included images of colour schemes and RBG colour theory.

POST 5: During week 5 I learned how to:

  • Use MS Movie Maker
  • Differences between .mp4 and .wlmp format movie files
  • I demonstrated these skills by creating a movie using the photographs I recreated in week 3 - 4.
